Assad Moves CW To Latakia
TEL AVIV [MENL] -- Syrian President Bashar Assad has transferred most of his
chemical weapons arsenal to Alawite strongholds along the Mediterranean Sea,
a report said.
The International Institute for Counter-Terrorism asserted that the
Assad regime has moved most of the Syrian CW stockpile of 1,000 tons to the
Latakia province. In a report, the institute said the CW was being fitted
into warheads for medium-range surface-to-surface missiles.
