U.S. Warned Of Decline In GCC Ties
WASHINGTON [MENL] -- The United States has been warned of a declining
relationship with the Gulf Cooperation Council.
A former State Department official said Washington was neglecting Gulf
Arab allies as President Barack Obama sought a reconciliation with Iran.
Former department spokesman Adam Ereli, who was also U.S. ambassador to
Bahrain, reported heightened anxiety among the six GCC states over Obama's
policies, deemed supportive of Iran and the Muslim Brotherhood.
