Egypt Enhances Canal Security

CAIRO [MENL] -- Egypt's military has enhanced security along the Suez Canal.
Officials said Egypt's 3rd Army has implemented measures to secure the
canal. They said the measures, which cleared a portion of the area, were
meant to stop plans by Al Qaida-aligned militias to attack the 193-kilometer
canal.
