Egypt, Saudi Renew Strategic Ties
ABU DHABI [MENL] -- Egypt and Saudi Arabia have renewed strategic ties in
wake of the military ouster of Egypt's first Islamist president.
Officials said Saudi Arabia has relayed billions of dollars in aid as
part of a renewal of strategic cooperation with Egypt. They said Riyad was
determined to bolster the new military-backed regime in Cairo and prevent
the return of Muslim Brotherhood rule.
