Israel Signs ATGM Deal With Peru

WASHINGTON [MENL] -- Israel has signed a contract to supply anti-tank guided
missiles to Peru.
Industry sources said Peru has signed a contract worth tens of millions
of dollars with Israel's state-owned Rafael Advanced Defense Systems. Under
the contract, Rafael would supply hundreds of Spike advanced ATGMs for the
Peruvian Army.
A report in Chile's El Mercurio said Peru has signed a $48 million
contract for 244 dual-mode Spike missiles. El Mercurio said the Spike
missiles would be fired by Peru's fleet of Leopard-2A4 main battle tanks.
