Israeli Satellite Could Penetrate Camouflage
TEL AVIV [MENL] -- Israel's latest military spy satellite was said to be
able to penetrate a range of camouflage and shelters used to conceal
missiles and nuclear weapons.
A leading Israeli engineer said Israel's TechSAR satellite, launched in
2008, could see through natural and man-made materials. The engineer, Uri
Naftaly of Elta Systems, said the synthetic aperture radar would not be
hampered by poor visibility or natural elements.
