Hamas Stockpiles Weapons Along Israeli Border

RAMALLAH [MENL] -- Hamas has been stockpiling weapons along the Israeli
border with the West Bank.
Palestinian security sources said Hamas has been reinforcing underground
positions in towns and cities around Jerusalem. They said Hamas has been
organizing and training squads for attacks in Israel.
On April 28, the Palestinian Authority reported the discovery of Hamas
weapons and explosives in the West Bank city of Bethlehem. PA General
Intelligence said security forces seized machine guns, mines, explosives,
mines and helmets.
PA officials said this was the largest Hamas weapons cache found in the
West Bank in at least a year. They said an unidentified cell assembled and
stored the weapons on orders of the Hamas leadership in the Gaza Strip.
