Israeli Firm Records Profit In 2009
TEL AVIV [MENL] -- An Israeli defense firm has reported a net profit in
2009.
Israel's BVR Systems has recorded a net profit of $3.3 million for the
first quarter of 2009. The figure for Q1 marked a more than six-fold
increase from the same period in 2008, when the company reported a $500,000
net profit.
Executives said the company, which produces simulators and training
systems, has rebounded from years of losses. They cited increased sales in
Europe and the United States.
