Iraq Prepares For Full Abrams Training

WASHINGTON [MENL] -- The Iraq Army has been preparing for full training for
its new fleet of Abrams main battle tanks.
Officials said the Iraqi Defense Ministry and the U.S. military were
drafting plans for accelerated training on the M1A1 MBT. The ministry has
ordered 140 M1A1s through the U.S. Foreign Military Sales program and plans
an additional purchase.
