Israeli, U.S. Firms Advance In Rocket Project

TEL AVIV [MENL] -- Defense companies from Israel and the United States have
been advancing in the development of a guided rocket.
Israel's Elbit Systems and the U.S. Alliant Techsystems have been
developing a guided advanced tactical rocket for Israel and the United
States. The project, launched in 2008, was meant to combine ATK's propulsion
system with Elbit's laser seeker to ensure a circle error of probability of
no more than one meter.
