U.S. Military Seeks Laser With Unlimited Magazine

WASHINGTON [MENL] -- The U.S. military, which has canceled several programs,
has been searching for a laser weapon with an unlimited magazine.
The U.S. Marine Corps has drafted requirements for a laser weapon over
the next decade that could sustain operations in the battlefield. The
military service has envisioned investment in
high-energy lasers that would enable unlimited interception of incoming
missiles and rockets.
