Oman Examines Bacteria To Increase Oil Output

ABU DHABI [MENL] -- Oman has examined the use of bacteria to increase crude
oil production.
The state-owned Petroleum Development Oman has been working with Sultan
Qaboos University to develop microbial Enhanced Oil Recovery to increase
production. PDO has been considering a series of technologies to boost oil
output in the sultanate.
