UAE Completes Satellite Preparations

ABU DHABI [MENL] -- The United Arab Emirates has overseen plans to launch a
reconnaissance satellite.
The UAE has completed testing of DubaiSat-1, scheduled for launch on
July 25. Officials said a team from the UAE's state-owned Emirates
Institution for Advanced Science and Technology was ready to ship the
satellite from South Korea to a Russian launch base in Kazakhstan.
