UN Holds Exercise Off Lebanese Coast

NICOSIA [MENL] -- The United Nations has staged a naval exercise off the
coast of Lebanon.
Officials said the UN Interim Force in Lebanon conducted a series of
maritime exercises with the Lebanese Navy. They said the exercises took
place in July 2009 as part of an effort to enhance the capabilities of the
Lebanese Navy.
