Morocco Details Islamic Coup Plot

CAIRO [MENL] -- Morocco has provided details of an Al Qaida-aligned cell
that sought to overthrow the North African kingdom.
Authorities have released information on a 35-member Al Qaida-linked
cell that sought to infiltrate the government and military as part of a plot
to overthrow the pro-Western regime in Rabat. The cell was allegedly headed
by a Moroccan-born Belgian national said to have been operating against the
kingdom for 30 years.
